Future of Paratransit Mobility Board

Goals

Scheduled to be completed by the summer of 2025, the Future of Paratransit project will aim to:

• Improve mobility for people with disabilities that are not able to use fixed-route transportation due to their disability.
• Improve efficiency, effectiveness and environmental impacts of Access Transportation.
• Equitably inform, engage and consult with current and potential Access customers, caregivers, and service providers.

Qualifications

For the Future of Paratransit Mobility Board, Metro seeks community members that meet the following criteria.

• Current Access paratransit riders or caregivers to Access paratransit riders.
• Representatives of organizations that provide services to/or support Access paratransit riders.
• Representatives of organizations that support current Access riders and/or potential riders who have limited English proficiency.
• A history of riding Access or providing transportation support to other Access riders (at least one-year of experience).
• Experience identifying transportation challenges of multiple Access riders (at least one-year of experience).
