Strategic planning for Public Health

Public Health – Seattle & King County is in the process of developing a new strategic plan for the department to guide our work in making King County healthier and safer for everyone.

The plan will provide a roadmap for the department over the next decade, and through the strategic planning process, we'll revisit Public Health’s mission, goals, and functions. It's a particularly good time to consider our direction, given that we are emerging from the COVID-19 pandemic and facing many other significant threats to our community’s health, including racism.

Building on the input of community and our staff, strategic plan development will run through early 2024.
