The King County GIS Center is located on the 2nd floor of King Street Center in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square neighborhood. We're next door to King Street Station which provides Sounder commuter rail and Amtrak connections, one block from the Seattle Streetcar Occidental Mall Station, two blocks from the International District/Chinatown Station for the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel, within a short walk of numerous bus routes and stops, and just over a half mile from the Washington State Ferries, King County Water Taxi, and Kitsap Fast Ferries terminals.

If you drive, numerous parking options are available in the immediate neighborhood. (We do not validate parking.)

  • Fee-based public parking is available in the King Street Center garage. The entrance is on the King Street (south) side of the building.
  • There are several fee-based surface parking lots and garages in the King Street Center neighborhood.
  • On-street metered parking is available throughout Pioneer Square. (Note parking restrictions on street signage.)

Please be aware that King Street Center is just across the street from the CenturyLink Field north lot, and Safeco Field is also nearby. On game/event days, be prepared for neighborhood traffic congestion, additional parking restrictions, and special pricing for off-street parking facilities.
King Street Center Computer Training Room (Room 7289)

Take any elevator to the seventh floor. Room 7289 is entered directly from the elevator lobby.

King Street Center Rooms 7044-7045

From the seventh-floor elevator lobby, enter via keycard or receptionist buzz-in through the doors marked Department of Natural Resources and Parks / King County Information Technology.

King Street Center 8th Floor Conference Center

From the eighth-floor elevator lobby, enter through the unlocked doors marked King County Department of Transportation 8th Floor, 8th Floor Conference Center.” The conference center is on the right side of the main hallway.
