King County collected these photos in 2001, after Puget Sound Chinook salmon were listed under the Endangered Species Act. We gathered about 2,500 aerial photos to assess habitat conditions along major streams in the Snoqualmie River basin. Pictures were taken from an airplane from an angle between 20 and 60 degrees. We scanned individual photos and georeferenced them to record their locations. Original photographs can be made available on request from Kollin Higgins, Environmental Scientist.
