The King County Biosolids Program manages the distribution and use of Loop®, our name for the nutrient-rich organic biosolids product created by recycling the poop and food in the County’s wastewater. Loop is a natural soil builder and endlessly renewable resource that returns carbon and nutrients to the land. Simply put, it is good stuff that builds good soil.

Here in King County, we send a small amount of Loop to a commercial compost facility that makes GroCo compost for local gardeners and landscapers.
