Small Habitat Restoration Program

For over 15 years the Small Habitat Restoration Program has restored and improved streams and wetlands,and provided technical assistance to property owners. This report describes projects accomplished and services provided during 2012, such as:

  • 23 new construction or phased planting projects;
  • 18 maintained and monitored projects;
  • 2.3 miles of streambank restored;
  • 18 acres of riparian buffer enhanced;
  • 1/3 mile of marine shoreline restoration;
  • 37,717 native shrubs and trees planted
