Summary
Hazardous Waste Management Program is requesting proposals for community education focused on protecting human health and the environment by reducing exposure to toxics in everyday cleaning products routinely used at home. Through funded partnerships with community-based organizations, people will learn to identify hazardous products in their homes with the goal that individuals will change their behavior and protect their health by choosing affordable, effective, and safer alternatives.

Pre-proposal conferences
Public Health — Seattle & King County conducted 2 pre-proposal conferences for this RFP on November 30 and December 14, 2023. These conferences were an opportunity for interested organizations to hear more about the program and to ask questions about the program and/or the Proposal process.
