Just before 9:30pm Sunday, September 24th police were dispatched to a fight in progress in the 12400 block of Ambaum Blvd SW.  When deputies arrived they contacted a group of people in the area and saw a man on the ground bleeding from his head.

The injured man, 57 years of age from Burien, was unresponsive and taken to Harborview Hospital with a serious head injury.   Witnesses at the scene initially told police the man had fallen and hit his head.  Detectives later located other witnesses who said the victim had been in a physical fight with another subject who pushed or struck him causing him to fall over a wall and hit his head.

On Tuesday detectives were informed that the man had died at the hospital as a result of his injuries. Detectives located the suspect, a 43 year old Burien man, on Tuesday night.   He was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Homicide.
