King County Sheriff deputy uses naloxone on heroin overdose
(Downtown Seattle) Two King County Sheriff’s Office bicycle patrol deputies used department issued Naloxone yesterday on a man that was suffering from an apparent opioid overdose. Their actions resulted in the first “reversal” since the Sheriff’s Office started issuing Naloxone in May. (Case#C16037808)
Helicopter damaged during search rescue mission
(Mt. Adams- Yakima County) the King County Sheriff’s Office Guardian 2 helicopter was damaged Sunday when it struck a rock outcropping on Mt. Adams in Yakima County. Two occupants received minor strains as a result of the incident and one of the two skids on the bottom of the helicopter was damaged. Guardian 2 was assisting the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office with the search for a hiker who had fallen.

Man found dead in car in SeaTac
(SeaTac) A SeaTac Police Officer patrolling near an apartment complex found a stolen Honda with a dead man inside. The officer was running license plates of vehicles in the parking lot in the 4000 block of S. 188th St just before 7am when he found the stolen car. When the officer looked inside the car he saw the decease man slumped over in the front seats. The man had what appeared to be a least one gunshot wound. (Case#C16034184)
Two women shot during disturbance
(South Seattle) Two women were shot late last night during a disturbance near S.112th St and 1 Ave S. One of the women was shot in the foot and the other was shot twice in the back. The women were with friends who were lighting off fireworks in the area. An altercation with a motorist may have led to the shooting. (Case#C16033939)
