Stolen property viewing for public this Thursday

Police seek to return stolen items to victims of burglaries, thefts, and vehicle prowls from the South King County area. Load of property was recovered by detectives in a recent Covington search warrant.

King County Sheriff's detectives and Covington Police are seeking to return loads of stolen property back to the rightful owners.  Potential crime victims are encouraged to come view stolen property at the KCSO Precinct in Maple Valley this Thursday, March 26th, 9am-8pm.

Based on the very successful search warrant by Covington Police, Maple Valley Police, and Sheriff’s Deputies on March 13th, detectives are asking victims to come to the KCSO Precinct to identify items belonging to them.  Items were likely stolen from Maple Valley/Covington/South King County burglaries and vehicle prowls.

Due to the volume of stolen property recovered, the hope is that additional cases can be closed and property returned to the rightful owner.  Victims should come ready with their case numbers from reported thefts or burglaries.

The KCSO Maple Valley Precinct is located at 22300 SE 231st St.

Questions can be directed to Covington Detective Schrimpsher (253)480-2432.
