Ravensdale shooting


Deputies arrived at 911call of a reported shooting in Ravensdale and found a 56y/o victim who had been shot. Deputies and Fire Department personnel rendered aid but were unsuccessful. Witnesses pointed out the suspect to units on scene. A 28 y/o suspect was arrested and later booked for investigation of 1st degree murder.

Ravensdale: Sheriff’s Deputies respond to a 911 call and arrest a 28 y/o male in connection the shooting death of an acquaintance.


Responding Deputies and fire rendered aid but a 56 y/o male died of his injuries.  Detectives are interviewing the suspect who was booked into the King County Jail for investigation of 1st degree Murder.


This morning at about 6:45am Deputies responded to a mobile home in Ravensdale at the 27200 block of SE Kent-Kangley RD where witnesses had called to report a shooting. 


Deputies found a victim at the location with at least one gunshot wound.  A male and female witness, both in their 30’s, reported a male acquaintance had shot the victim.  The witnesses pointed out the suspect and was taken into custody by units on scene.


Detectives believe this is the only suspect involved and the shooting was the result of an undetermined relationship between the involved parties.
