Mission Statement

The mission of the Tobacco Prevention Program is to reduce health disparities through partnerships, policies, and system changes that promote effective cessation efforts and prevent tobacco use, nicotine addiction and exposure to secondhand smoke.

  • Nori de la Peña - Tobacco-free college campus initiative and tobacco cessation 

  • Lindsey Greto - Smoke-free multi-unit housing initiative and school policy 

  • Fel Pajimula - Tobacco/vapor product regulation education and enforcement (retail sale and use in public places/places of employment)

  • Tatiana Kaehler - Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Public Health Associate
