King County Government has determined that in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, King County will close many face-to-face customer service operations from Monday, March 16 until further notice. Please call the Community Health Access Program (CHAP) at 1-800-756-5437 for assistance.

Open enrollment season is over this season but you may still qualify for Washington Apple Health (also called Medicaid) year-round depending on your income.

You may also enroll in coverage if you have experienced a qualifying life changing event.

What to bring with you

  • You will need to know your birth date, social security number, and annual income before taxes and deductions.
  • Immigrants will need to supply a passport, Green Card, or other immigration documents.

One in-person location is available below (All previously listed locations in King County are currently closed due to efforts to prevent the spread of COVID-19):

  • Metro Seattle Office
    Located next to Metro's Customer Service office on Jackson
    201 S. Jackson, Seattle, WA 98104

    • Monday and Wednesday 10:00 am - 4:00 pm (closed from 12:30-1:30 for lunch)
    • Assistance available in English and Spanish
