2016 UPDATE PROCESS AND TIMELINE
Below is a summary of the process and timeline for public review of the draft King County Comprehensive Plan update:
- November 6: Release Public Review Draft
- November - December: Community Meetings and Outreach (see below)
- December 1: Transmit 2016 Docket Report to County Council
- January 6: Public Comment Period closes
- January - February: Refine Plan
- March 1: Transmit Executive Recommended 2016 Comprehensive Plan to King County Council
- March: King County Council review begins, adopted adoption anticipated in late 2016
