Story

King County Elections will perform the county's official logic and accuracy testing on ballot counting and processing equipment at 1 p.m. tomorrow, July 21, at the King County Elections office, 919 SW Grady Way in Renton.

The test will be livestreamed on Facebook for members of the media and public who would like to observe virtually. To view the livestream, visit the King County Elections Facebook page at 1 pm.

Logic and accuracy testing is a standard pre-election procedure. King County Elections does the testing to ensure that tabulation hardware and software functions properly and is accurately programmed for each election.

In-person observation space for the media is limited as we continue to work to slow the spread of COVID-19 in King County. Please schedule in advance with hawatkins@kingcounty.gov to ensure adequate space is available. Everyone entering the building for the Logic & Accuracy Test is required to wear a mask and be temperature screened.
