King County is committed to being a good neighbor and will work directly with the community throughout the project to minimize construction impacts whenever possible. Residents can expect:
- Advance notice of construction activities – mail, email, phone, door hangers
- One-on-one problem solving with residents directly impacted by construction activities
- Construction updates and news via notices, emails, and this website.

In December 2017, we launched an interactive online open house to share construction and schedule information with the community. This is a July progress update.
King County's contractor has moved into restoration activities now that approximately 3,000 feet of pipe is installed between 32nd Avenue West and Smith Cove Park. While construction activities are more limited than during the pipe pull, people can still expect activity in the project area. On the online open house, people will learn more about:
- The construction method used to install 3,000 feet of pipe between 32nd Avenue West and Smith Cove Park
- Construction activities in Smith Cove Park, and at 32nd Avenue West and Clise Place West

King County Wastewater Treatment Division invites all to learn about our award-winning efforts to protect history, and to hear archeologist Alicia Valentino share the story told by remnants of Seattle’s Finntown. Before Alicia’s presentation, you can:
- Learn about how archeologists have recovered and protected cultural resources on King County’s project sites in Magnolia
- See artifacts from Finntown and replicas of artifacts from the West Point Treatment Plant site in Discovery Park
- Visit with the Magnolia Historical Society and learn about their work to chronicle the area’s history.

Elliott Bay Marina Meeting. Meeting purpose: King County's project team will describe the design and construction of the underground CSO storage tank in the Smith Cove/Terminal 91 West Yard area and work on 32nd Avenue West to install a diversion structure and the gravity sewer pipeline.
