See a great movie, learn about King County programs, at GoGreen Night, July 13 at Marymoor Park


King County GoGreen Night is Wednesday, July 13 at the Movies@Marymoor screening of 'Jurassic World,' - a fun way to learn more about the County's departments and programs, and to watch a great movie with friends and family in beautiful Marymoor Park.


Learn about a variety of King County programs and2014_movies_at_marymoor projects, enter a drawing for free tickets to an upcoming concert, and watch "Jurassic World" with family and friends under the summer stars this Wednesday, July 13, at the annual King County GoGreen Night at Marymoor Park.

GoGreen Night is a great opportunity to enjoy all of the fun activities and features of a Movies@Marymoor event while connecting with the people who are working on the public’s behalf in communities throughout the county.

Participating King County agencies and programs include:

• King County Sheriff's Office Marine Rescue Dive Unit with a boat
• Orca to Go and Orca Lift programs from King County Metro Transit
• King County Office of Emergency Management, and Emergency 9-1-1 program
• Regional Animal Services of King County
• King County Water and Land Resources’ Noxious Weed Program
• King County Wastewater Treatment Division’s Lake Hills and Northwest Lake Sammamish Sewer Upgrade Project
• Seattle Tilth’s Master Recycler-Composters Eastside.

Everyone can win prizes by visiting with agency and program employees – and one lucky moviegoer will win a pair of tickets to the 107.7 The End - Summer Camp concert, Aug. 13 at Marymoor Park.

To be entered into the drawing for concert tickets, just grab a GoGreen Passport on the way in to the movie, visit at least six King County booths and answer a question about that particular booth. Turn in the completed passport, including name and email address, at the Easy Being Green or King County Parks table. The ticket drawing will be held on July 14, and the winner will be notified by email soon after.

The night wraps up with a screening of “Jurassic World,” which shows at dusk.

Movies are shown on a 40-foot inflatable movie screen. All events are “bring your own seating,” dog friendly and smoke free. Event entry is $5 per person for all activities, and kids age 5 and under are free. Seating opens at 6:30 p.m., and movies start at dusk. Parking is $5 per vehicle.
All Movies@Marymoor events feature a movie trivia contest and a variety of performers, including stilt walkers, acrobats, jugglers and giant puppets. Every event also offers a selection of King County’s best food trucks, including Wicked Pies pizza, Charlie’s Buns n’ Stuff, Buddah Bruddha, Roll OK Please, Express Mexican Kitchen, Caramia’s Sweetie Treaties, kettle corn and more.
