In order to properly celebrate the entire community that makes Fairwood what it is today, we are asking you to share your memories and photos.
StoryLove Fairwood? Remember what it was like in 1966, or the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and beyond? Starting Thursday, March 17, Metropolitan King County Vice Chair Reagan Dunn will be partnering with King County Parks to bring you throwback pictures and memories from the early days of Fairwood.
This celebration is in recognition of Fairwood's 50th Anniversary, which culminates on August 27th with a day of family fun for the whole community at Petrovitsky Park.
But we need your help!
In order to properly celebrate the entire community that makes Fairwood what it is today, we are asking you to share your memories and photos. To submit photos for the chance to be featured on the Fairwood 50th Anniversary Throwback, either post your photo or memory on Facebook or Twitter with the tag #Fairwood50 or email them to Reagan.Dunn@kingcounty.gov.
Please only send materials that are appropriate and allowable for public display. Submissions will be taken continuously until August and may be shared through social media.
