King County Disability Retirement Board for LEOFF-1

Purpose

The King County Disability Retirement Board for LEOFF-1 rules on claims for reimbursement of medical expenses and applications for disability leave and retirement benefits mandated by the Washington state LEOFF-1 retirement plan.

A claim for reimbursement should be submitted to the board office no later than the second Wednesday of the month in which the claim needs to be reviewed.

It applies to all firefighters and law enforcement officers, active and/or retired, who are employed in unincorporated King County (unless specifically noted) and who are covered by:
