Accessible Services Advisory CommitteeThe purpose of the Accessible Services Advisory Committee is to attain equal opportunity and maximum independence for elderly people and people with disabilities in using public transit. The committee has two main roles: - monitor, oversee, evaluate and improve transportation services for members of the disabled and elderly communities, and
- advise the director of the Department of Transportation, the King County Executive, and the King County Council about service to members of these communities.

The committee is composed of a maximum of 15 members who are elderly, have disabilities, or are advocates for the elderly and persons with disabilities. The committee’s membership also reflects King County's geographic distribution and ethnic diversity.
