West Seattle/Downtown Seattle

The King County Water Taxi offers service between Seacrest Park in West Seattle and Pier 50 on the downtown Seattle waterfront. The West Seattle route is now operating on its winter schedule, offering weekday commute service. Crossing time is about 10 minutes.

Bus and shuttle connections

Two free Metro DART shuttles operate between local neighborhoods and the Water Taxi. Route 773 serves West Seattle Junction. Route 775 serves the Admiral District and Alki Avenue SW. You can find schedules for both of these routes on Metro Online by entering the route numbers under "Get a Timetable."

Service to Seacrest Park is also provided by Route 37, which makes trips towards downtown Seattle during the morning peak period and return trips during the afternoon peak period on weekdays only. Route 37 does not run on weekends. Route 37 schedule (Metro Online).
