The Road Services Division's Strategic Planning, Programming and Reporting Office provides transportation planning services in the following areas:

Transportation planning provided by the Strategic Planning, Programming and Reporting Office

The Road Services Division's Strategic Planning, Programming and Reporting Office manages long-range transportation planning and capital program management for the roads and bridges in unincorporated King County.

Transportation planning includes:

  • Development of a long-term transportation facilities plan
  • Roadway classification
  • Concurrency and mitigation payment system management
  • Corridor studies and other transportation analysis, and
  • Road-related policy development for King County

Capital Improvement Program:

Administration of the Capital Improvement Program includes the development and ongoing management of the Roads Services Division's capital projects. This also includes oversight of consultant and construction contracts, and administration of the Roads Grant Program.
