King County Road Services – Regulations for accommodations of utilities on county road rights-of-way

King County has adopted these regulations in order to effectively administer its authority to: These regulations apply to the installation, replacement, adjustment, relocation, and maintenance of all above and below ground utilities located within all King County road rights-of-way. All utilities with facilities within King County road rights-of-way, whether or not the utility holds a franchise from King County, shall comply with these regulations and with all applicable federal, state and local laws, codes, rules and regulations.
