King County Road Services - Illegal Dumping HotlineReport illegal dumpingWe rely on the public to help us identify illegal dumpsites on the road right-of-way. When you let us know about an illegal dumpsite, we're able to quickly coordinate a clean-up response. Illegal dumpsites can attract rats, are dangerous to children, can pollute our rivers and streams, and may contaminate wells. And if they're not cleaned-up quickly, illegal dumpsites often invite more illegal dumping. In addition to public health, safety and environmental costs, illegal dumping has financial costs. In 2004, the Road Services Division spent approximately $325,000 in illegal dumping response and clean-up costs. You can report illegal dumping in King County one of two ways: - Use the online reporting form, or
- Call the 24-hour Illegal Dumping Hotline at 206-296-SITE or toll-free at 1-866-431-7483.
