King County Road Services - Adopt-A-Road Program previously featured volunteers

Department of Development & Environmental Services

King County's own Department of Development & Environmental Services (DDES) group has been cleaning a portion of road in the Skyway area since 2006. DDES employees and their families participated in a very successful litter clean-up on "Make A Difference Day" in October 2007.

The group posed for the photo below after collecting 25 bags of litter off their adopted road.
