Are you aware of a monument (survey marker) that has been damaged or destroyed? Please use the form below to report the damage or loss. Grading, fencing, road building and other work with heavy equipment are common causes of broken or destroyed monuments — as is damage from homeowners and contractors who may be unaware of the placement of boundary survey markers.
When survey evidence is destroyed, King County surveyors must redetermine boundaries by measuring from the closest survey evidence that can be located. By reporting damaged or destroyed monuments, you help keep our monument system in good working order.
