Ride regular Metro bus service to upcoming Seahawks weeknight games
Hawks host Eagles Thursday night and Rams on Dec. 12
With the Seattle Seahawks hosting back-to-back weeknight games on Thursday, Dec. 1 and Monday, Dec. 12, King County Metro Transit is reminding fans that it has plenty of regular service to CenturyLink Field.
Metro will not be offering its special Seahawks shuttles from park-and-ride lots for those two weeknight games, since almost all of its buses will be deployed for regular commute-time service. The shuttle service will resume for the game against the 49ers on Saturday, Dec. 24.
Both night games are scheduled to start around 5:30 p.m., which means there could be additional traffic congestion in Pioneer Square, SODO, and the freeways approaching the stadium area on those nights. Bus commuters should be aware of possible delays through these areas on Dec. 1 and 12.
To plan a transit trip to the game, use the convenient Online Trip Planner, or call Metro’s Customer Information Office at (206) 553-3000. Be sure to plan your trip home after the game as well, since service and schedules later in the evening may be different than during commute times.
