ROAD ALERT SPOTLIGHT

111th Avenue SW on Vashon to close for six weeks

The King County Road Services Division will close a three-block section of 111th Avenue Southwest on Vashon Island to install a new culvert where Judd Creek crosses underneath the roadway. The road will be closed from Southwest 209th Place to Southwest 212th Place from 8 a.m. Monday, July 17 through Friday, Aug. 25. Motorists can detour via Southwest 204th Street, Vashon Highway and Southwest 216th Street.
