Plan for weather-related transit disruptions
Heavy rains and flooding throughout King County are affecting many bus routes. Metro Transit is working with other jurisdictions to keep service disruptions to a minimum; however some buses may be rerouted or delayed.

Minor flooding prompts road closures in Snoqualmie Valley
The King County Road Services Division is advising residents that minor lowland flooding along the Snoqualmie and Tolt rivers is beginning to impact roads in the Snoqualmie Valley.

The King County Road Services Division will close 78th Avenue just south of Kent for four days while crews make repairs to the Alvord T Bridge.

The King County Road Services Division will be repairing and repaving one lane at a time on Novelty Hill Road between Avondale Road Northeast and 208th Avenue Northeast on Tuesday and Wednesday, Oct. 3-4.

Saturday evening (Sept. 30) at Seacrest Dock in West Seattle, marking the completion of its most successful run yet. King County Metro Transit projects overall ridership for this season will be more than 118,000 passengers - the highest summer ridership in water taxi history.

The King County Road Services Division will close West Snoqualmie Valley Road Northeast between Northeast Woodinville-Duvall Road and Northeast 124th Street to repair a culvert.

New bus routes, service changes begin Saturday
King County Metro Transit is gearing up for a major service change starting Saturday, Sept. 23. This particular service change features many transit revisions in South King County, including a new bus route to employment areas around Sea-Tac International Airport.

King County proposes reducing speed limit on a section of Southeast Issaquah Fall City Road/Southeast Duthie Hill Road
The King County Road Services Division will hold a public hearing at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 11 in downtown Seattle to gather public comment on a proposal to lower the speed limit on a two-mile stretch of Southeast Issaquah Fall City Road/Southeast Duthie Hill Road.
