Inside Transportation is designed to help you understand how the King County Department of Transportation serves the public and how to take advantage of the transportation options available to you. It is a presentation of the King County Department of Transportation Public Affairs Unit.

Inside Transportation airs on KCTV at the following times:

  • Thursday: 7:30 p.m.

 The hybrid utility truck can carry two vehicles, up to 15.000 pounds each.

All the brawn, 2/3's the fuel and emissions - In its continued commitment to reduce the greenhouse gas it produces, the King County Road Services division just took delivery of a second hybrid utility truck, with another set to arrive in 2009. The hybrid cuts diesel consumption by up to 40%.
