Led by Sustainable Magnolia, the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods and King County Metro Transit have teamed up to get Magnolia In Motion.How it Works:Beginning in August and continuing through October, people living in Magnolia will have many opportunities to get IN MOTION - by busing, biking, walking, and sharing rides. Everyone eligible who registers will receive TEN METRO FREE RIDE TICKETS.  Pledge to reduce driving alone trips by at least two trips per week.Request information how you can reduce your driving and bus, bike, walk, and share rides more often.  After you pledge, report your progress on how many trips you have reduced each week.Watch your points add up as you save trips, miles, CO2 and gas.  Earn weekly rewards for every week you kepp your pledge and report your saved trips.Earn 30, 50, and 80 points and be eligible for great prizes!!
Who is eligible to participate?
- Must live or work in Magnolia
- Must be 16 or older. If you have younger kids, get them involved in your drive-less trips - it’s a great way to build healthy habits for the future!
- Must have at least one car in the household (so you can get used to using it less!).
Sustainable Magnolia is a nonprofit whose mission is to educate and actively engage our citizens to help mitigate the climate crisis and promote a sustainable quality of life in our community.
