Way to get In Motion, South Park!

In the summer of 2011, King County Metro partnered with South Park community groups to bring In Motion to the South Park neighborhood. During the 16-week program, 139 South Park neighbors switched 2,368 trips from driving alone to a healthier, more affordable option, saving 39,617 miles, 1,981 gallons of gas, and 38,428 pounds of harmful carbon emissions from entering the air we breathe!

If you participated, congratulations on making the program a great success – for yourself and for the community! We hope you continue your new habits for getting to all the great destinations in and around South Park.
