King County holds two auto and heavy equipment auctions each year, on Saturdays—one in spring and one in fall. The auctions are open to the general public as well as all government employees.
Previews are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Thursday and Friday before the auction, and from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on the day of the auction. Bidding starts around 9 a.m.
