Taxiway Alpha rehabilitation |

Project update:
As 2012 draws to an end, so does the completion of Phase 4 of the Taxiway Alpha Rehabilitation project.
The only significant work remaining to be done in 2013 will be storm pipe repair and rehabilitation, both in and next to the movement area. This work is being held over to avoid the significant main runway closures it would require. The airport is looking into whether some of this work can be completed by remotely controlled robots, allowing the main runway to stay open. We will advise tenants and pilots when a 2013 plan has been completed.
For more information, please contact Mark J. Bergam, Airport Engineer, at mark.bergam@kingcounty.gov or 206‑296‑7427.
We thank all of our Airport tenants and pilots for your patience as we have worked to “construct the future” for you and complete this two-year project. You can continue to stay informed about project developments by signing up to receive airport updates by e-mail or text message (see button at top right).
