Airport security and public safety

Launched in 2009, Partners in Excellence is a five-year airport safety and security program in which the airport’s Operations staff, tenants, and ARFF unit (police/firefighters) partner to evaluate and set benchmarks, train, and increase best practices, situational awareness, communications, and emergency preparedness. KBFI staff members are looking forward to working with airport tenants to improve all areas of safety and security.
