King County Fire Department Day features airport’s ARFF Unit

July 2010—King County International Airport’s Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting Unit participated in the 13th annual King County Fire Department Day on June 25 at the Museum of Flight. Children of all ages were able to view the Airport’s fire equipment on display and meet the men and women who serve them.

There were often lines of parents and children waiting to crawl inside the Airport’s fire truck and talk with the firefighters. This was a fun way to provide life-saving information to families and teach children safety skills.
