New additions to airport staff

New personnel have filled vacant positions in our Engineering, Finance, and Maintenance sections. Please join us in welcoming them to the airport.

Nicole Bell, administrative assistant II

Nicole comes to us from Allied Waste, where she was an administrative assistant. Nicole is assigned to our Maintenance department. She enjoys movies, music, and basketball.

Mark Bergam

Mark Bergam, airport engineer

Mark joined us in April of 2009 from the King County Department of Development and Environmental Services. He is a registered professional engineer with degrees in civil and aerospace engineering, as well as business administration. He will manage our capital improvements program and other infrastructure development.

Jimmie Casias

Jimmie Casias, fiscal specialist III

Jimmie has more than 15 years of experience in accounting and office operations in the transportation and property management industries. She is assigned to the Finance department, and will assist in managing the Airport’s billing database.

Anthony D. Spelts

Anthony D. Spelts, heavy duty mechanic

Our new Heavy Duty Mechanic is a veteran of the Iraq war, where he served as a soldier and mechanic specializing in military and diesel equipment repair. After leaving military service, he worked for Lear-Siegler Services, a government contractor for the U.S. Department of Defense, repairing heavy ground and combat equipment.
