Office location

The King County Department of Transportation's administrative offices are located at 201 S. Jackson St. (Second Avenue S and S Jackson Street) in Seattle’s Pioneer Square district.

You can reach most department employees who work in offices, and some field staff, by e-mail using the following convention: firstname.lastname@kingcounty.gov. You may also use the Department of Transportation web site Comment Form to request help from the KCDOT Web site manager.

  • For road maintenance matters in unincorporated King County—including missing or damaged traffic signs or malfunctioning signals, potholes, downed trees, flooding and manhole lid covers—please call 206-296-8100 or 800-527-6237.
  • If you need to contact a specific employee quickly, please call the King County Information Line:
