Veterans Services

The King County Veterans Program serves low-income, homeless, disabled, and at-risk veterans and their families. Veterans, current service members, National Guard members, Reserve members, and dependents of these military personnel may be eligible for services. Clients are subject to program requirements, length of service standards, and income guidelines.

Direct services are provided at two main offices (Seattle and Renton) and eight satellite offices in King County. Services provided at these sites include:

  • Emergency financial assistance
  • Housing assistance
  • Employment guidance and assistance
  • Case management
  • Life stability
  • Veterans' benefits counseling
  • Mental health referrals
  • Other supportive services

Locations/Hours of Operation

The Seattle Office of the King County Veterans Program is located at 2124 - 4th Avenue, 4th Floor, Seattle, WA 98121. This office is co-located with Public Health-Seattle & King County. Phone number is 206-477-8282.

The Renton office is located at 500 SW Seventh Street, Suite 100, Renton, WA 98057. This office is co-located with WorkSource Renton. The Renton office phone number is 206-477-7022.  

Business hours for both Seattle and Renton offices are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Walk-in hours for the Seattle office are 8:30 to 11:30, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays; Tuesday's walk-in hours are 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Applications for the Seattle office must be completed 15 minutes before the end of walk-in hours. Walk-in hours for the Renton Office are 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday. Applications for the Renton office must be completed by 11:15 a.m.

Business hours for satellite sites are 8:30 - 4:00 with walk-ins from 8:30 to 11:30. Please click here for more information including days and locations of all satellite sites.
