Veterans Services

2008_KCVP_Wilbert_CandiceThe King County Veterans Program serves low-income, homeless, disabled, and at-risk veterans and their families. Veterans, current service members, National Guard members, Reserve members, and dependents of these military personnel may be eligible for services. Clients are subject to program requirements, length of service standards, and income guidelines.

Direct services are provided at two main offices (Seattle and Renton) and six satellite offices in King County. Services provided at these sites include:

  • Emergency financial assistance
  • Housing assistance
  • Employment guidance and assistance
  • Case management
  • Life stability
  • Veterans' benefits counseling
  • Mental health referrals
  • Other supportive services

OUR SEATTLE OFFICE HAS MOVED: The Seattle Office of the King County Veterans Program is now located 2124 - 4th Avenue, 4th Floor, Seattle, WA 98121. Our Seattle office is co-located with Public Health-Seattle & King County. Phone number is still 206-296-7656. No change to our satellite offices. Business hours for both Seattle and Renton offices are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
