The King County Jobs Initiative (KCJI) provides job training, job placement, and supportive services free-of-charge to low-income adults.
Our services are provided by organizations with experience in job training. Each client is assigned an Account Executive to support and guide them through the employment process. This means they work with the same person from enrollment, through training, and until the client has worked on their new job for one year.
Job placements are in full-time jobs paying at least $9 per hour, many with benefits.
We enroll clients in a variety of trainings with different start dates and locations. Training generally lasts no more than 12 weeks. We will also help clients with transportation to get to training and work, child care, and emergency services as needed.

KCJI also provides an intensive four-day Job Readiness Training for all participants. This training helps participants understand and prepare for their transition into training and employment.
