Community FacilitiesCDBG Funds may be requested by nonprofit organizations and public agencies for:
- Community facility projects including acquisition, construction, and rehabilitation of health and human service facilities including, but not limited to, senior centers; childcare centers; facilities for disabled adults; food banks; social service facilities; and health care facilities. Projects must be consistent with the King County Consortium Consolidated Housing & Community Development Plan for and CDBG Program Regulations.
- Public improvement projects including, but not limited to, construction or reconstruction of stormwater systems, water and sewer systems, streets, sidewalks and park facilities. Funds may also be requested to pay for removal of architectural barriers in existing public facilities. Projects must be consistent with the King County Consortium Consolidated Housing & Community Development Plan for 2006-2009 and CDBG Program Regulations.
