King County Consortium Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for 2010-2012The "Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan" (Consolidated Plan) guides the investment of approximately $11 million per year in federal housing and community development funds, and an additional $23 million per year in other federal or related state and local funds, to address housing, homeless, and community development needs throughout the King County Consortium over the next three years, from 2010 through 2012. The King County Consortium includes most of the suburban cities in the county, as well as the unincorporated areas of the county. It does not include the City of Seattle, which prepares its own Consolidated Plan. The Consolidated Plan contains an executive summary and strategic plan that contain broad goals, objectives, strategies and performance measures; a needs assessment (Appendix A); and 12 other appendices and maps. On October 28, 2010, the Joint Recommendations Committee of the Consortium approved an amendment making minor changes to the wording of Goal I, Objective 2 regarding home ownership. these are reflected in the amended version below.
