Elements of Successful Programs"Elements of Successful Programs" describes the factors that contribute to a program's success. It is used by provider agencies for program development and improvement. The Guidebook (720 kb pdf) describes the characteristics of programs shown to reduce recidivism, delinquency, and/or violent behavior of youth who are involved, or at imminent risk of involvement, in the juvenile justice system. The accompanying Program Assessment Improvement Plan (300 kb pdf) helps agencies determine and document the elements of success, along with areas of strength and areas needing improvement.
