Welcome to the Veterans and Community Services page. Veterans and Community Services manages a range of services to assist the county’s most vulnerable residents.

Examples of services include:

Health promotion, recreation, socialization and social services assistance for older adults.
Domestic violence and sexual assault services for women.
After-school, youth development and juvenile justice programs for youth.
Employment, financial assistance, housing and trauma services for veterans.

Thanks to King County voters, we have the Veterans and Human Services Levy. It was passed in November 2005 to enhance veterans’ and regional human services.

Veterans and Community Services is one of three sections that make up the Community Services Division. The other two sections are Housing and Community Development, and Work Training Program. You can visit the Community Services Division home page for links to these programs.
