Regional Plans and Reports

The Community Services Division has worked with community partners in the development of several important regional housing and human services plans in recent years to improve service delivery and resource coordination, in an effort to achieve healthier people, families and communities.

CSD Quarterly Dashboard Performance Measures

Human Services Recommendations Report (HSRR)

Updated and approved by the King County Council in 2007, the HSRR provides an historical perspective on how human service programs have changed over the past ten years and highlights regional accomplishments. King County Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan 2005-2009

Guides the investment of approximately $12 million per year in federal housing and community development funds, and an additional $9 million per year in other federal or related state and local funds, to address housing, homelessness, and community development needs throughout the King County Consortium.  The Consortium includes most of the suburban cities in the county, as well as the unincorporated areas of the county. The Consolidated Plan contains a needs assessment, an analysis of barriers, and a strategic plan that contains goals, objectives, strategies and performance measures. Learn more.

A one-year action plan for the use of King County’s regional housing and community development funds. Learn more.

King County Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER)

King County, in partnership with 34 cities and towns, receives approximately $12 million in federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) each year to address the goals and objectives identified in the King County Consolidated Housing and Community Development Plan for 2005-2009. The CAPER, submitted to HUD annually, provides a summary and evaluation of how these funds were used. Describes, in brief, the accomplishments of the Housing and Community Development Program and the King County Consortium in achieving progress in creating affordable and special needs housing, ending homelessness, and improving low-income communities through the use of federal housing and community development funds and other federal and local funds.
