Miller and Walker Creeks Stewardship Page We all can be good stewards of Miller and Walker Creeks! Whether you live right next to the streams or a mile away, your actions can help improve water quality and reduce stormwater. This, in turn, will help our region's efforts to improve Puget Sound. Monitoring Coordination Workshops Watershed citizens are invited to participate in a series of workshops this fall to discuss how we monitor the ecological health of the Miller/Walker Creek basins. Workshop #3 will be on Thursday, December 4, 7 - 9 p.m. at the Educational Resource and Administrative Center, 15675 Ambaum Blvd. S.W., Burien. Workshop #1 occurred on September 24. Establishing a basin steward to be a single point of contact for activities and information related to the basin was recommended in the Miller and Walker Creeks Basin Plan. Stewardship of the Miller/Walker Creeks basin is jointly funded by the City of Burien, City of Normandy Park, City of SeaTac, King County, and the Port of Seattle.
