Marymoor recycling crew volunteer

Come volunteer for summer fun as an environmentally friendly member of the “Marymoor Composter/Recycling Crew”! Teach concert-goers about sorting recyclable and compostable materials and assist them in using appropriate bins, and help keep the Marymoor concert venue free of litter.

In exchange for your service, volunteers receive free entry and parking to the shows at which they volunteer. A minimum commitment of three concerts is preferred, and shift hours vary depending on show times. Training will be provided on site. King County Parks restoration projects 

Bring the family and friends and have fun helping out at restoration projects! Join us on a Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, however some events start at 10:00 AM or if you have a group that wants to work during the week or on a weekend, give us a call to arrange an event. King County Parks is looking for groups this summer

Does your family reunion want to start with a service project? Is your office or group looking for a different type of get together? King County Parks would love to have your help this summer. We are in need of backcountry trail work, restoration projects need to be watered and weeded, and the King County greenhouse and nursery has lots of plants that need to be sorted for the fall planting season. King County Parks backcountry trail projects

Native plant holding facility
Groups are needed to care for salvaged native trees and shrubs at our holding facility near Sammamish. To schedule a group work party, please contact Cindy Young.

Adopt-a-Park & Park Ambassador Programs
These programs provide opportunities for groups or individuals to help maintain King County's 180 parks, 175 miles of regional trails, and 130 miles of backcountry trails.  For more information please contact Laurie Clinton, volunteer coordinator.
