The program is staffed by social workers who have specialized training in family law matters. These social workers assist the court by collecting and providing relevant information regarding the family that will promote an outcome which benefits the children and the family as a whole. Family Court Services also assists the court in identifying risk issues that require consideration so that steps can be taken to ensure the safety of the children. In addition, the services provided by Family Court Services help parents understand how separation, divorce, and ongoing parental conflict impact their minor children, and works to protect the interests of these children.
