The Yo Yo Reach (River Mile 41.5) near Flaming Geyser State Park

On May 22, 2014 a potential boating hazard on the Green River near Flaming Geyser State Park was investigated by the King County Sheriff Marine/Dive/Rescue Unit. A fallen tree is blocking the main flow and floating path in the Yo Yo reach of the Green River (River Mile 41.5). Oared boats may be able to maneuver to avoid the log, however floaters and swimmers should avoid the area.

The King County Sheriff Marine/Dive/Rescue Unit is working with local natural resource agencies to address the hazard in the near term.
