To support GIS training for King County employees, funds are allocated each year to a King County GIS Training Credit Program Fund on an agency-by-agency basis. You might be eligible to use credits from the fund for your training. To check eligibility and the dollar amount of credits available to your agency, contact the KCGIS Center. How will my registration be confirmed?

All registered students will receive confirmation via email one week prior to the scheduled class start date.

What is the KCGIS Center cancellation policy?

If the number of registered students is not adequate to justify the cost of presenting a class prior to the scheduled start date, the class will be canceled and rescheduled at a later date. All registered students will be notified immediately of any cancellations. If a class is canceled by KCGIS Center, registered students will be given the option to register in a future class or to receive a full tuition refund.

If you register for a class, but for any reason you cannot attend, please notify the King County GIS Center via email immediately.

Client cancellations will be assessed a $75 class cancellation fee to cover administrative processing costs. Cancellations must be received in writing by KCGIS Center staff no less than one week before the start of the class. Registered students who cancel with less than one week notice, or who fail to attend the class even though registered, will be billed for the full cost of the class.

What are the other standard terms and conditions?

Find them here.

Is registration different for KCGIS classes offered at locations other than King Street Center?

Prices and other details about such classes may vary. Each class offered at a location other than King Street Center will have a custom registration form which will be available on the catalog page for that class. Use the custom form rather than the standard KCGIS Training Registration Form to register for the class and to see other non-standard details about that class offering, such as pricing.
